Miranda, Correia, Amendoeira & Associados

Miranda, Correia, Amendoeira & Associados is a multi-service Portuguese firm that represents several Fortune 500 companies in Portugal, Angola, São Tomé e Príncipe, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde. Working mainly with foreign corporate clients, the firm has developed extensive expertise in a wide range of legal areas related to foreign investment in the aforementioned countries.

Our practice in São Tomé & Príncipe started in 1997. We were the first foreign law firm to open an office in São Tomé, in association with a reputed local lawyer, Aristides Salvaterra. While São Tomé is a small country, and business activities are still limited, it is expected that the coming years may see significant investments, specially in the areas of tourism and oil and gas. Similar to Angola and Mozambique, we have been involved in oil & gas projects as advisors to foreign companies.
